Did anyone find a true method of figuring out the quirks of smoking each blend to minimize bite?

Pal, there's 200+... Usually if a blend bites me, regardless of maker, it's due to me puffing too fast or it being two wet. Both conditions can be resolved by slowing down.
I've run a cross blends that burn and bite no matter how I smoke them. Normally have Mac baren on the name plate.

I hacked through maybe 30 rand I m bulks from Cornell in the last few years. All loose cut ribbons. Never tried the flakes. Cakes. Or flake cake stuff.

The Burley flakes are very underappreciated, especially #3.

there is always the possibility that certain blends just bite certain people. There are a few Mac Barens I can't smoke because they just bite me.
Also some people call Mac Baren Mac Biten.

Do you have specific blends that you'd like advice on? C&D lists nearly 200 blends in their current catalog, and it's very hard to make recommendations that cover the entire spectrum. Straight Virginia flakes smoke very differently than heavily-topped ribbon-cut aromatics, which smoke differently than cube-cut burleys. Narrowing down your particular issues will help the community give actually helpful advice.

Some what, redburn seems ok..

But im more on the theory that some tricks may exist to make these blends more enjoyable. Bot the put it in a closet for 10-15 with Australian dude named Trevor.

But similar to the Crack the factory vacuum seal and set it aside with lid on for a week.

Have smoked C&D over 95% of the time for many years and have never been bit.
at worst I've had some get a bit harsher then usual. But never got bitten by one of their blends. Even the styles that are more bite prone. I think some people aren't used to smoking tobacco at the moisture levels they tend to ship at. Which can make fast smoking burn through a smoke faster hence hotter. That's the best guess I got.
