The answer is yes they do, they both smoke well. I have two Diplomats, and one Gent, the Gent is a bit taller bowl than the Dips. I like the Dips more, because I can get my fat little fingers down to the bottom of the bowl. I can't do that with the Gent, and it is a bit harder to pack my tobac well.
Either way, they're both great smokers.

Great cobs. I've always been tempted by the Danish Egg but for some reason I've just never gone for it. That will be my next cob.

Just ordered me a great dane egg too! Question sir, I just ordered the great dane egg and was given no options on finish. Is it a random thing? Or do you get what is pictured on the site you buy from? I didnt notice a great dane with the black finish.

I love my MM freehand. Best cob IMHO. Want to get a country gent next and one of those forever stems or a dozen or so, too cool.
