Corn Cobs for Newbies

When you can afford to, try a Briar pipe. The experience differs from smoking a Cob.

I smoke aromatic on my cob, and I find it that the pipe adds taste to the tobacco, it is more sweeter, any one out there had the same experience.

I've read other threads here about the Chinese cobs that P&C has shipped out with their Tobacco of the Month promotion and the gist is that once these were gone they'd change over to MM's.

Also, no one had much good to say about the cheapies and questioned the marketing strategy of sending out obviously inferior product/pipes essential to pipe tobacco consumption.

I bet there's a running gag in the shipping dept. about them. "Don't forget to include the FREE pipe!"

Yeah, they are definitely still shipping cheap china cobs. I'm not going to complain because the value of the club is amazing. I will say I'd be just as happy with the club without the cob.
Now... if they ever decide to throw in real MM cobs, I'll be over the moon and they'll probably have a lifetime subscriber.

I got the Tobacco of the Month offering for a while and the Chinese cobs in there were/are a joke. I've never smoked one as I have multiple cobs that I smoke. Don't waste your time on those horrible things. As others have said, buy a real Missouri Meerschaum corn cob and you'll definitely see the difference. I've never had an issue with any of my cobs from smoke one. Some people say they detect an after taste etc. but I never experienced that.
