The Patriot is one of my favorite Missouri Meerschaums. In my experience, most any tobacco tastes better in a cob. Russ Oullette has released 4 blends he developed specifically for cobs.
My favorite is Country Gentleman, Virginia/Periqu with Dark Fired Kentuckian leaf.
American Patriot is a mis-named, as it is an English Latakia blends with cavendish/orientals/turkish and Virginias. It has a Bourbon casing, so maybe that justifies the name.
Great Dane is a cavendish, burly, virginia with a Cherry casing. Haven't tried this one yet.
Missouri Pride is a classic American burley blend with broken flakes mixed with ribbon. This is my favorite burley blend, one that I can smoke all day.

I am a big fan of the new Missouri Meerschaum tobaccos. My personal favorite is the American Patriot, but all four are fine examples of their types. Why not get one of each?

Cobs go with most any tobacco. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right tobacco/briar and/or cob pairing.

"I have yet to find a tobacco that does not smoke well in a Missouri Meerschaum cob."
I totally agree, ain't it grand? Smoking a General, a Washington, and my Wizard today. Heck I have so many cobs MM should start sending me tobacco.

Cobs make any blend taste good. I have 6 of them. 2 for aros, 4 for vas and lats. Can't go wrong. They get more attention than my briars.
