My wife surprised me with this cool antique tobacco cutter for Fathers Day after seeing me admiring one like it at an antique store a few months ago. I love it.

I saw 7 or 8 tobacco cutters while following the wife through 17 antique/collectible/junk malls in Mississippi last week. Passed on the first two because we had just started looking. Passed on the rest of them because they looked exactly like the first two we saw. I don't think they were the "rare antiques" the label said they were.
All I got was a new Mastro Bernaldi Volcano but I'm not complaining.

And I do remember you posting yours Stan. I plan to clean up and sharpen the blade on mine and try cutting some plug myself.

John - the ones I saw were more decorative with either a horse or a man that reminded me of George Washington on top of them. Yours however looks more like it was made to be used.
