Confirming the long-story short: at this time, 1.5 oz pouches of regular Prince Albert are not, and in no way affected; with the 14 oz tubs available - for now - everywhere, except California; final disposition on the 14 oz. tub is questionable as of today; from what the rep told me this morning. Bottom-line: While the ugly "inter-webs rumors" were for the most part, but not totally without some merit, according to the Middleton representative, there is no immanent threat to the continued future availability of the regular Prince Albert blend to pipe smokers in the U.S.

Even still, with this good news, if you feel inclined to personally call and let Middleton know you don't want the availability Prince Albert affected, I would suggest to everyone who cares, to call, and let them know your feelings; at: 888-878-4562 - Sherm Natman

I saw the first post. Glad you were able to clarify. Honestly, I don't like scare tactics being used in business, but I guess it's just that...business.
