Wasn't taking it to an absurd level of "sameness". But Shirley you must have known that.With minute differences in cadence, tobacco moisture and airway bore, that's impossible.
I used to dry out aromatics but the overnight wait was cutting into my smoking time. Finally realized packing lighter helped the burn and moisture issues and translates well to non aromatics as well.I think Embers has a point here. If you smoke Captain Monochromatic Grape as he does you are going to know an awful lot about burning moist tobacco. Remember if you could travel back in time and leave a pouch of that in a Pyramid 2000 years ago it would still moist and smokable if discovered by Howard Carter when he opened the tomb!
