I recently acquired a Comoy's pipe with the markings 67 on one side, an H or I on the bottom and a C on the other side. It looks barley used and is in it's original box which is in great condition along with the warranty information. I am new to pipes and am curious to the pipes history and value, any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

The number is most likely the shape number of the pipe, and the letters might have to do with the grade and series. These two links might give you what you're asking about.

The H & C stamping seems to be a bit of a mystery. Could it be for Henri Comoy?

You may never know:

Definitely post a picture of your pipe. The type of logo is a key to dating Comoy's. The earlier pipes had a 3 piece drilled logo, than to a one piece drilled logo and finally just a stamped "C".

I just sold a gold banded billiard that appeared to have been made in the mid 80's, but it had briar stampings from two earlier eras. That's all part of the Comoys mystery and intrique!
