Amazing restoration! I have a couple of pipes that are in the same, if not slightly rougher condition that were once my grandfathers. They are certainly beyond help, I just keep them tucked away safely for sentimental purposes....and to remind myself to keep my pipes clean!
One is even a nice meerschaum, unfortunately.
