Comoy’s experts! I need some help with identifying and evaluating this Comoy’s exceptional grade.

This is the only picture I have for now. The C emblem appears to be the “drilled” and not stamped. Not a ton of info on the Exceptional grade


I’ll have the pipe in my hands in a month

C definitely looks drilled. Here's a thread from 2013 where I ask about this grade. Apparently it is also mentioned in Derek Green's article. This is the last time that I've seen the Exceptional grade.

I wish I could see those photos! I saw that thread, shame there isn’t more info out there.

I’ll have to be blueballed until I have the pipe in hand and can take some high quality pictures. Do you remember what the last one listed for?

That stem looks like it might be molded to me. I'd be interested in seeing what the slot and tenon look like once you get it.

It should be a nice pipe. The line was done very late in the company's life. The last one I saw was at the Chicago show in 2016 or so. It was offered at around 200 if I recall correctly.
