Coming Out to Non-smoker Parents

Just my opinion, Shayde, but if you live at home what you do under their roof IS their business.

As long as you are under their roof (literally and figuratively) then you are under their thumb.
BTW, I was driving my 89 y/o mother to a doctor's appt. the other day, when she spotted a pipe in the center console.

"When did THAT start?" she asked. I handed her the pipe.

"Oh, that IS beautiful. What kind of wood is that?"

That's kind of how our conversations go.
I moved out of the house in September of 1981, became a free man in June of 1985.

They'll either accept you as gay or they won't, I don't see how being non-smokers will affect it. Good luck.
