Cognac?

I am coming across videos of people dipping pipe cleaners in vodka, whiskey and even Isopropyl alc to clean their pipes. Would cognac work? (that’s all I have in the house).

If you don't mind the flavor then sure. Vodka or grain alcohol are ideal since they don't impart flavor.

Cheap booze is cheap booze. But, it would be a shameful waste of quality , Hine for instance.

I like any grain alcohol to clean my pipes,Everclear included.I cut my Crown Royal with it.Everclear is available at most Military base liquor stores.?

It will work if it’s what you got. I used to use rum before I got my bottle of everclear that I’ve been using for years.

I have been using denatured alcohol. I can’t find any rubbing alcohol anywhere because of COVID. I actually really like it.

that's what i tend to use. I love the flavor it imparts for a few smokes.

you now you shouldn't drink that? Just have to make sure since you said you really like it.
