Codgers: Tubs or Jars

Mostly use jars but I have a tub of Prince Albert that has been fine for more than two years.

I would keep the tub just because I love to use the pipe to scoop the tobacco directly from the can.

Hmm…. since I am fond of “codger” blends, they do not last long enough to worry…. tubs for me. And, I agree with Wet Doyle that filling your pipe by scooping from the tub is also very nice!
