Cobs with a Deeper Bend

Has anyone modded a cob so that it has a greater bend? It seem like cobs mainly come in 1/4 bent but I’d love to have one be at at least 1/2 bent. Is there something about how the existing shank is placed that would make it impossible to mod it for a deeper bend?

I did this yesterday with a forever stem. I haven’t tried bending the original but it wasn’t that hard to do the FS. Warmed it up over a heat gun on low & gave it a twist & bend. I’d recommend putting a pipe cleaner in before attempting so you don’t pinch the airway closed.

Oh yeah, that bottom one is what I’m thinking! Did you just reuse the shank that came with the pipe?

I had it made for me. Actually had two of them made. I’m not crafty at all but I am willing to pay people who are.

This was the description from the guy who made it for me:

This one is original MM. I have only modified the ferrule form black to "silver".
But, I guess, it is not bent enough...

They have some pipes with full 90 degree bend in them. Look at one of their catalogs.
