I just purchased two mini cobs from MM (didn't realize how tiny they were) and I'm seeing globs of what appears to be glue in the bottom of the bowls. Is this normal? Do I just scrape them out before I smoke them? Also there's a lot of splintering inside the bowl from the stem, should I just shave that off before smoking?

I've never gotten any glue in my cobs, but others just take a knife and whittle away anything they can see that they dont like.
If you're not going to be inhaling I don't think it would cause much of a problem to just light her up as is.

I've never smoked or purchased a cob, but if I saw that glue I would definitely have to gt rid of it first. That's all I would think about the whole time

Ya I ended up scraping it out and then fixed the shavings on the inside and smoked it. Far too small to be of any real use in my opinion, I couldn't even get my pinky in there to fill the bowl!

I've got one of those small MM cobs - the bowl is just barely larger than my tamper. It's good for a short smoke, especially flakes.

Smoke through it..... dont inhale. This is pretty common on new cobs.
