Dropped it one to many times, the tenon was a bit loose in the mortise so I hab been wrapping it with Teflon for the last couple of years, leaned of the table yesterday and the bowl slipped off and hit the concrete driveway.

Interesting to know. Some of my corn cob. are three years old. When some of them are deteriorated and are no longer good for smoking, they will go to recycling. Most of them will go to recycling, unless the museum in my town needs them. But I will also keep the old pipes, the ones I like the most, as a remember.
I’d probably use string or wire with a decorative wrap. Several instructional videos exist.
In 54 years of smoking cobs, I've had to throw only one away due to a burn through of the bottom plug.

Wow those are not as expensive as I thought. The guy on ebay seems to have sales because last I checked they are well over my price range. But for less then my car payment I have to say that's smart buying!!!
Send it to Shiny Pipes. A little photoshop and a little over-buffing should get it sold on eBay for a pretty penny.

I don't know why, the MM Cobs that bought recently are bigger than those bought last time.

It's based on the condition of the crops harvested. A few years back there was a drought and their pipes were much smaller than standard.
Ooohh..... In that case, which size is standard? I have 3 types of sizes in all my cobs ?
CE has forgotten more than I will ever know, but MM makes good products in the higher price range with acrylic stems.
