Cob Collected Some "Gunk"

This is a good mystery to solve. I hope it's not the pipe because I have the same model. So far it's been clean and tidy, no gunk.

I have been running an MM country gent now for 10yrs, a great smoker but I do also notice tar build up in shank/where it enters the bowl - A good bristle pipe cleaner and some everclear seem to always do the trick for me.
