We saw some spades with the Dr. Grabows, now let's see the clubs from those Kaywoodies. I have one that's in the process of cleaning so its not in the best shape but I got one.
Very light pipe in the teeth. The picture makes the bowl look charred but it's not. Got it already refurbished and don't know if there was a club on the stem. There is some black specks in the white dot.
jcsnaps,I have some tiny little Grabows,but I believe your little Kaywoodie is smaller. Looks to be about 2--2 1/4"?? Like the looks of that saddle bit paneled billiard on left.
This is my 1928 Kaywoodie billiard. This pipe is made from some of the best quality briar I've ever seen. The grain is super tight and the pipe weighs next to nothing, did I mention that it smokes amazingly too?
Actually I just got my first Kaywoodie Friday for $12 and just about finished the refurb 10 mins ago...Just have to wax it so here is a before and after[thus far].......
