That makes me wonder if there was some sort of pricing error. It cost less than my much smaller IMPs.?

I know new meerschaum is light, but I was expecting something more than 7.10 oz. I’d have wagered closer to a pound.

Yeah. It's a bit bigger than the skull, and it takes three hours. I'm smoking the mountain lion right now, started smoking it just before watching Labyrinth, and when the movie ended the pipe was only half way down so probably 3.5 to four hours to finish it. I generally have a pipe going all day do during a slow night at work when all I have to do are paperwork or time studies, I could have the big kitty constantly burning at my desk.
Damn, I can't believe how big that new one is...and I'm still surprised it's an AKB.
AKB surprised me, the size surprised me, the huge open draw surprised me, but the price is something I still can not wrap my head around. I bought an IMP apple earlier today that cost more.
@chasingembers What's the tenon/shank system on these? I have a Kenan signed pipe that I got from Meerschaum Market but it uses this screw in shank holder and the tenon on the stem is super restricted and made of rubber or something. I find it very offputting - I'm assuming yours have something more advanced/convenient.
I reckon you could clench 3 maybe 4 in one go..
