Does anyone know if Ben Nevis Cuttys are still being made in Ireland? I've come into owning one, and while it doesn't appear to be all that old, I'd still like to know a little more about it. Seems to be a stout little pipe compared to some of the newer more fragile clays I've bought in the past.

I think they might be although the above style was called a 'snug' when I was growing up. I love clay pipes but my teeth don't seem to appreciate them to the extent that I do. Pollocks made one in a similar style with either a red or green tip. I could never seem to get on with them as I found the smoke used to get in my eyes! How did you come by that fine fellow?
