Wow I must have had a brain fart, didn't even think of ebay... thanks for the links lonestar
as far as the glazing on the ends I'm not sure it it would hold up to being placed into a fireplace ( which completely cleans them out and makes them like new again) I haven't had a problem with the stem sticking with my short clay, probably because my lips don't dry out easily.

The company 7thearl refers to has been making clays for centuries. BTW, it's not glazing on the end but rather a kind of artificial beeswax. It won't stand up to fire, but you only need to burnish the kettle if you should want to restore it to its original white, not the entire pipe. The price of 10 euro (app. US$ 13,50) is realistic. Far more realistic than the 40 dollars mentioned in the original post.

I have the 40cm bent and the 50 cm straight Dutch from RG.

The bowls are huge the 50cm is better as there is no glazing and the draw is easier too.

The 40cm bent has some draw issues because of it being bent. but still smokes great!
