Great blog! I will throw some love to the first Tinder Box in Santa Monica, CA. Established in 1928 and still going strong. Love visiting them on a regular basis.

No, never was there. I found the pic when looking for pictures & info on cigar store indians. Pic was taken in 1947 and as I recall was in the same location thru the 1950's. Then it either moved or went out of business; I don't know which. If you google the name there is some info that comes up on a Florida history website. Also note the mentioning of Weingott Pipes on the window.
