@BenMN yea it’s funny I had an Aladino vintage a couple years ago and thought it was one of the most bland things ever, tried again but let it acclimate for several months and get down to 62rh and it tasted amazing. These really do much better at low rh like Aganorsa and so many others really.
For sure!
Most important thing I've learned- play with RH, find what works. 70/70 is nonsense

I took my appreciation of JRE Corojo and bought a box of C.L.E. Eiroa Classic

Christian is apparently Julio's youngest son

JRE and C.L.E. are made at the same Honduran factory, from tobaccos grown on the same farm, although presumably different plots
1000009103.jpg
C.L.E really emphasizes progressive conditions in factory and field... More info downpage here

I bought the Prensado size which according to this insert means I am an elegant smoker. I know you already knew this but there it is on paper

Nice presentation. I do not know the varieties. I assume some Corojo... C.L.E website does not specify. Smallbatch says Honduran Puro

I'll let these sit for ?? not sure. At least 3 months, we'll see after that

For me, CLE and JRE are similar in that the tobacco is very similar/the same stocks. If you ever smoked the old Eiroa Camacho were somewhere between CLE and JRE with CLE being more rustic and JRE being more refined. I keep meaning to pick up some CLE Corojos, but always end up with Aladino in my cart. If it ain't broke....

SBC got the Machito back in stock, and I'll be taking a break from Exquisitos with these Antaño littles..
4 X 32, so .5" shorter

I've been eyeing those minis, but have enough Machito for now, and some other small cigars to get through before trying a tin. I kind of have to be in a mood for an Antaño - I love the cereal grain flavors, but the strength on some of them (like the lancero) is formidable.

I had one of these at a Michael Herklots meet and greet a couple weeks ago. Good enough to take advantage of the box deal they were offering. Dynamite smokes!

The only new Timeless blend I haven’t tried. The Panamericana was fantastic and for what you can get em for, under 5 an insane deal. They come out of Plasencia too, the Supreme is really good too if you sit on em for a year they fill out nicely, so the same deal applies. I’ll have to try the Prestige now and see what that Honduran wrapper does.

According to the Big Cheese, they are the same blends as the Nat Sherman blends of the same name. I haven’t tried the other two lines, but they are on the list.
