My wife actually likes most of the English blends I smoke minus the really heavy ones. She says she likes the smokey aroma. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones

Pardon the necropost, but just wanted to share this one -
My wife is actually quite supportive of my new interest, and I'm trying to keep it that way. After my initial foray at the local shop, I brought my bag of goodies upstairs into the computer room, and my wife sniffed a couple of times, then asked me if I'd brought up some chocolate. Turns out it was the tobacco she was smelling - I'd opened the baggie of Victorian Standard to take a whiff. :D She was slightly disappointed, but I promised to bring some back next time I went downstairs.

My wife wanted to take up pipesmoking. Luckily she is a nurse and listened when I reminded her it wasn't so great for her. Otherwise I would have to have given her one of my Dunhills, which she was eyeing.
