It was started by Jay-Z, Jack White, and a bunch of other professional musicians. It offers different levels of sound quality (for pay, of course) and more of your dollars go to the artists than with any other platform.

But from a utility standpoint, you get to select Block Track, Block Artist, and for those like myself who like playlists to discover new artists, you can't bear their custom playlists. It says they're curated specifically for you, but I'm not sure how it works. Still, they're awesome shuffles.

The most shocking part of this thread is just how many people still listen to a radio instead of exactly what they want when they want. No one has Spotify accounts here?

Unfortunately Spotify doesn't help in stores, ads, other people's radios, church, etc.
