My wife is Mexican and Christmas Eve is the real celebration for her with things really kicking off at midnight. I smoked some pork tenderloin and pork belly for the festivities.

My house is full of people enjoying themselves and free range grazing on the food. My poor dog is trapped upstairs with 2 four year olds who have obliterated the play room. She's a good dog.

I have fired up the patio heaters and am comfortably enjoying a smoke.

Feeling nostalgic I have chosen to smoke my figural Kaywoodie "Noble Man" for the first time. This was my grandfather's pipe I was able to aquire a few years back. I sanitized it. But have not refurbished/cleaned it. It is as it was when my grandfather last smoked it.

I chose some KBV Jim's Special Flake and a glass of Famille Vallein Tercinier 1967 Grande Champagne Tres Vieux Cognac to accompany:
