Hi All, I just bought one of Chris Morgans cigar pipes should arrive in a week or two. Not cheap yes, but looks good quality. From the reviews it doesn't seem to be a novelty item. It looks really well made to me, looking forward to giving it a go. I did a search for posts on the topic search here and didn't see anything. I contacted him and he was a nice fella to converse with. We all have seen the pipe cigar pipes but I like the gourd engineering on his, good on him. What do you guys reckon?

You-Tube is filled with video reviews showing your "Morgan Pipe Cigar". A quick search will bring you into touch with tons of information about the care and feeding of your new briar pipe.
Hope this helps. Enjoy sipping on that briar cheroot.

Thanks Frank yes it does help , yeah I think thats what sold me the u tube vids. Was just wondering if anyone here has any input/experience with them. Keen for another option of a "pipe" to smoke while on the go,camping, driving, shooting ect ect sounds like a tampon add just forgot horse riding and swimming joking lol I use my bent falcon for outdoorsy stuff but keen to give it a go.

The Briar Cigar, by Chris Morgan is an excellent smoking device. Great for on the go and short smokes. I had one a while back, but sold it as I didn't have a real purpose for it. When I smoke I enjoy a longer smoke of 30 minutes to an hour, and I found that the briar cigar only gave me about 10-15 minutes. I don't smoke at work, so no smokes on breaks/lunch, and I don't smoke typically when out for the evening so it just didn't fit me. It's made very well and is very nice, but it just wasn't for me and my smoking habits.
Suggestion... ribbon style tobacco's cut like the Dunhill blends work best in the Briar Cigar. Also, sip the cigar very lightly as you can scorch your tongue if drawing to hard. Enjoy your new Briar Cigar.

Thanks guys, I have had 4 bowls/fills out of it and absolutely love it. I was a bit worried that the lite ash would fall out(not good if I am driving) but it only comes out if it is done burning and I tap it with my finger to get out.
It does get a bit warm in the fingers if I toke to hard(I rotate it as I smoke as recommended) but I guess that happens with any briar.

Reeeaally happy so far it will be very handy when fishing, driving or just polishing and refurbishing my pipes. I used BriarWorks International - Sweet Tea tobacco because that was the finest I had handy but will try mclelland dark star chopped into small squares next time. I think it will be a winner in this pipe. Anyone else recommend a tobacco for the pipe cigar?

Thanks. Mike.
