Is a chipped chamber wall bad? It's not a hole it seems just like a tiny piece of the chamber's colour has chopped of. Can I fix it somehow?

It will fix itself when you smoke it. Just a bit of coating has come off.

Just smoke it and the carbon layer will do its thing.

If it’s pre-smoked there’s a good chance it’s actually cake that’s chipped out. Post a picture if you’d like us to evaluate.

Couple of possible issues. 1. Like said, cake chipped off. Nothing to worry about. 2. Possible defect in wood. Possible issue, but can't tell if it will lead to further problem or not. On both situation, keep smoking will cover the area with cake.

I picked up a Stanwell that had a wee chip in it. I Smoked it as normal and completely forgot about until I read this thread, must have had a few hundred bowls though it by now.

This would not be a concern for me, I'd mud it or keep smoking it, both will fix the problem.

How much cake was in the chamber ?
If the cake is quite thick, ream it back to just a thin layer.
Otherwise apply some pipe mud

Yeah, that's a chamber coating. No briar loss at all. Wipe the rest of it out with a damp paper towel and let the real carbon build from smoking it.

Sharpie. It fixes everything in color black. Unless it blue.. And red. I think they have it in green too. But in this case, no harm done. Smoke on.

Yes a carbon layer will certainly fix that. I tend to get tiny cracks in some of my pipes inner bowls and it is because I smoke a hot pipe and it shatters the briar. It doesn’t bother me, the carbon layer fixes it…

Not an issue at all. Coating flaked of and it's near the top of the bowl. Smoke it.

I always enjoy buying a new pipe with no bowl coating at all. Since I don't overheat my pipes, the uncoated chambers always develop a nice carbon coating with no problem, so this missing chip of bowl coating looks inconsequential. Enjoy your pipe.
