Right now just arrived back in Paris after a great weekend traveling all throughout Normandy.

You can have Paris....but Normandy, what a cool place. And, they still love Americans. I assume you visited Omaha Beach, Pointe Du Hoc, and the National Cemetery. Did you by chance see Le Mont St. Michele?

Al, I can put all the evidence together for you.
Those Pat O'Brian's hats are given out at night. Lets see, Pat O's most of the night drinking hurricanes. Then, next door to the Dungeon for some Blad-Vods, black Vodka & cranberry juice(use to be my favorite late night bar, doesn't open till midnight). The place is well known for their Vampire DJ's. Then to Café du Monde for Begniets & café au lait

There are several major coffee blenders in New Orleans. Coffee gets shipped to the port from S America, blended, packaged and send to stores all over the world. Don't forget that New Orleans was the northern capitol of the Caribbean long before the American Revolution.

@ranger, yes I visited all those places and the cemetery was especially emotional for me. I confess to a tear or two. They really love Americans in Normandy. Paris is a bit pretentious but most of my family here is from the country side and they love Americans and show it. As a 1st gen American (European jew and Filipino) my family were victims on both sides, so I felt tremendous gratitude and pride as an American.
