My first attempt at a pipe, in retrospect I would have chosen a softer wood - this stuff is like iron. I liked making this one so much I will have to get some Briar
Materials - Chico Zapote - Acrylic, thin aluminum band (next time a wider band)

Roughly have the shape, I was inspired by the Low Ball Bourbon glass I had on my bench I guess.

Duck call maker would explain why you have a large metal lathe. Shouldn't your title be "...pipe part ducks"

Parte Dos I think would be correct not sure though I took German in High School so...
Pipe Part Ducks is good as well, boy I missed the mark!

Cleaned up where the stem meets the bowl I think its called the shank a little more last night ... still a lot to go for that perfect finish. I need some smaller files that is for sure.

Well got it cleaned up as good as this hard wood is going to get, down to 1000 grit. Here is the finished product.

Nice job ! It kinda reminds me of the old D&P pipes made during WW2. I like paneled pipes.
