Chicago Pipe Show 2013

I'll be there and I'm eagerly looking forward to seeing what's up in the pipes and tobacco world, exploring the tables, and meeting people whose names I've only read about, and who have made some of the pipes I enjoy so much. I'm also looking forward to meeting some of the fine people who inhabit this forum and whom I've had the privilege of corresponding with over the past few years.
A question: how do we book into the Friday and Saturday evening dinners?

Friday's dinner is free compliments of the CPCC and their dinner sponsors. Pick up a ticket at the information desk.

The Saturday Cigar Dinner is a great event with a full tenderloin dinner and the clubs famous goodies bag are something I always look forward to! I'd send a PM to Porshcigar for details on making a reservation ASAP! Will see you there. 8O

Thanks for the info, Dave. The Chicago show web site says that it's $60, but doesn't say where to send the money for the reservation, and a lot of the info is out of date, by a year or more. I've sent a PM to Porschcigar, but haven't had a response. Anything else I might try?

I'll be going to the Chicago Show again this year. It'll be my third year in a row =)
I really enjoyed meeting you all at the PipesMagazine table last year. I remember you and your son, Winton - and the beautiful pipe that Lonestar was passing around! Will there be another PipesMagazine meeting in the tent this year?

There is a pipe making seminar? I have to retreat to google to find out more. I've been thinking about making my own pipes for a while now, being an artsy fartsy, blacksmith/leather work, hand made oddities kinda guy.

There is a pipe making seminar. But it is full. I am on the waiting list. Maybe next year. I would love to get together again with other forum guys.

I have my plane ticket, room booked, and table reserved! This will be my first time back to the Chicago pipe show since 2004!

My good friends from the Albatross in Springfield, MO and I will be there with 3 tables this year. I'll have estate pipes and they will have accessories and new pipes and SNUFF, oh my!
Three tables and no wife and son!! I can actually talk to people and drink much beer! Smoke til' 2 a.m. in the tent? I'm in!!
