I would say that Red Man is a mans chew. If you can chew Red Man then you can chew any bacci.
No no. Redman is for girls and young boys. Mail Pouch is a mans chew!!!

Quiting chew was the toughest thing I've ever quit. I really liked it though it's a nasty habit. I chewed everything you could buy. To this day when someone cracks a tin I start to salivate badly. My favorite was called WB cut. It was like pubic hair. :D It was natural tobacco no flavoring just pure tobacco pleasure. You could probably smoke it too.

Tried it once...horrible. Agree with Mike - it needs to be sweetened. The tobacco that's made for dipping or chewing is blended and flavored for that purpose - pipe tobacco - not so much!

The way I quit chewing was my daughter asked me to quit. She was 6 or 7. Well I did for a couple of weeks and then I started to sneak a chew here and there. Well one day she caught me and boy did I feel like a total shit. That's all it took and I never chewed again. Man did that make me feel guilty.

Copenhagen snuff. Love it. Chewed it for 10 years and quit about 3 years back. Still miss it. I've seen twist tobacco and am curious about being able to chew on it at work and smoke it in the evening like the old trappers and mountain men. I've seen some pretty gnarly twists for sale that look like they came out of jim bridger's possibles bag, just don't remember where.

I am enjoying a wee pinch of Mac Baren Virginia 1. Anyone else try this? It is kind of nice- reminescent of Red Man without all the sugar and crap
not yet, but I'm not past trying it. I will pick up a few tins or pouches of chewing tobacco once or twice a year. Usually when I work my firework shows and there is no smoking (for obvious reasons)

I chew Skoal straight pretty regularly. I have a habit of trying whatever tobacco I buy. I like to chew or dip. Some of the pipe tobaccos are not so good. I will never try any strong smelling flavored kind. My boss has HH berry nice and the smell is just too much for me to try it. When deployed Skoal is not always available I used to dip the 10 dollar a carton marbrol lights we could get.Just need to make sure you do not have a dry mouth first.

You'd almost think that you'd taste the flavorings that are added to the good-smelling-stuff. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Either way, I think I have some Copenhagen around here somewhere...and we've got a full scale blizzard happening right now. Going outside or going to town are not going to happen.

I have never dipped or chewed. Interestingly though, my 77 year old mother always wants to taste a pinch of whatever pipe tobacco I have in my pouch. Go figure!

That's just it! Some of those aromatics smell like cookies, or baking, or maple or vanilla, or you name it - stuff that we consider 'treats' when we eat them because they taste so damn good! Maybe Skoal can make a cookie flavored dip LOL! Since they're into all the flavors...maybe root beer would be a good one.

Amen to that pitchfork! That's why I always tell my children to leave their grandmother alone about smoking cigarettes. She has been smoking for over 50 years. She loves her cigarettes. She gets in her car and drives all over hell and back chain smoking the whole time. I tell her grandchildren to leave her alone. What difference does it make now? Crazy old woman makes blackberry and scuppernong wine. She tells me all the time, "A few glasses of that every night cures whatever ailes me boy!"

+1 for me not looking to start that up again.
