I often enjoy pairing a drink with my pipes and have found different drinks to dramatically affect the smoking experience but eating and smoking just seems "messy" to me.

Are you guys actually doing it simultaneously or is it more like you snack on some cheese and then return to your pipe? I can't imagine chewing and puffing and all that...

I was eating, then had a pipe.
But I'll be trying the two together.

Call me brave, call me a hero, yes it's all true. I shall not deny it any longer.

Hmm. Out of all of the thousands of potential topics and questions related to pipes and pipe tobaccos that can be found amongst the pages of this forum, this is perhaps the most unexpected and surreal. Given the excellent reputation of the OP for sardonic wit and humour, did anyone else pause for a moment to consider if this was meant for April 1st? And yet it provokes seemingly serious responses and contributions, including my own here! I wonder what will come next? Someone should begin a thread for “the best tobaccos while chewing gum” and see what happens.
