Does DC , double comfort that comes after model number . Does that automatically mean
It’s after dunhill took over? Even though it’s still marked with a L. Lane era? So In essence if you see DC you can date it to after 1980?

No. The patent for the double comfort bit dates to the mid 1960's. I don't have access to my copy of the patent at the moment or I could be more precise. Interesting factoid, one of the names on the patent is Williamson Barling, who went over to become general manager at Charatan after the family was given the sack by Finlay's in 1962.

I really want to add one to my collection. I found one I absolutely love. It’s not a high grade or expensive. I just don’t know anything about them. I’m learning.
