Great to see that Qarabağ can still make it to the round of 16. Today, my Tottenham Hotspurs win their division, and are definitely in the next round.
Do you have a team in the competition you support?
BTW, Champions League is European football* at its best. So is EPL, but as the Spurs are faltering there, I won't mention it. COYS!
* aka "soccer".

It's funny the two teams I watch are Liverpool and the Spurs. I see both are represented here.

Can't believe that I missed this thread. I am not a football (soccer) fan at all, I hate it actually. But seeing Qarabagh there was a proud moment for each of us here in Azerbaijan. They played really well.

Mostly watch EPL, Go Reds! Team outside the "Big Six" that I like to see do well, Burnley. Will keep an eye out for the Champions League games though. Is Bayern Munich still in it?

I like MU, but the City boys will point out their standing at the very top of the table......
Munich play on 20 Feb v Beşiktaş, who are unbeaten in seven European matches.
Jvn- I am always pleased to see great teams from smaller countries do well in sport. Especially when they take down over privileged pampered and rich athletes, such as are prevalent in my country. (Though certainly not universal here nor limited to the USA.)

When I retire in a month's time I will be moving to Bristol - they have two main teams: City and Rovers. Bristol City have always been the bigger club and very recently (Dec 20th) knocked off Man Utd 2-1! The ground is a nice walk away from where we will be living.

Tottenham play Rochdale FC tomorrow in the FA cup. Rochdale might be considered a minnow, as they are in a middling league, and the Spurs are EPL. But take naught for granted! COYS!!

What a great venue!! Looks like they haven't been in a UEFA match since the 80's, but I hope they get back there soon.

COYS. We ended up doing extremely well in that brutal run of games, only to draw two minnows in the FA cup.
