It just seems like the four were released at the same time and #4 sold out fast and the others still available are just whatever stock is left and being sold through. They to don't come back in stock places once they are gone.

Back in January I posted a thread trying to trade a full jar of Rattray's Exotic Passion for just a sample of Chacom #4. No takers, so I gave the Exotic Passion away.

I'd love to try some Chacom #4..

I have a bunch of #4 and I am keeping them:). I tried to initiate a blend of the year thread and listed it as my top VaPer. It is a great flake, easy to handle, and very balanced on the spice/plum scale. I saw it getting scarce and I went deep when I could find it. I highly recommend a buy if it resurfaces as the same blend and quality.

It was very cheap for a while, and didn't sell well I'm guessing for how long it stayed available and "on sale."

It among many that I bought a small amount of and will get to eventually.

BTW Just so nobody will think that I am a bigger ass than they may already, I did see @sloyd ‘s post in Jan., but I am, also, siting on a bunch of Exotic Passion. sloyd, PM me your address and I will send you a few flakes.
I am skeptical of the suggestion that it was a poor selling blend. I was in early and it was always selling out. I believe that it was just another victim of the Pandemic.

Yeah, I picked up several tins when they were like 9 -10 bucks, but I haven't seen him since. I was just wondering whatever happened to them. There are plenty tins for the other chacom's 1 2 3 and 5, #4..forget about it...

Thank you dcon, but SpookedPiper sent me a PM offering me a sample.

Maybe it was discontinued. I never did get to try it, though I wish I had.
Well, I read your review you posted today while I was smoking my first bowl of Chacom #4. My sample from SpookedPiper arrived today and I immediately set some out to dry. I wish I had your taste buds. I enjoyed this blend very much. I usually have difficulty with flake, but not this one. It was an easy smoke, only a couple of relights. I read in your review that it can be smoked right out of the tin, no dry time. I will do that next bowl.

SpookedPiper also sent me a generous sample of HU Krater Plug, something I've never heard of. I'm looking forward to that blend too. It's members like Spooked Piper that make this forum a great place to hang out.

I think a lot of times producers don't really expect their blends to have the popularity and the reach the internet gives them.
Surprisingly, it turned out to be a little gem of a smoke. The review from Jim said light apricot topping, which gives it a nice sweet note, one I wasn't expecting.

I guess I am amazed that a relatively new blend, just disappeared. Covid may also be a factor as I haven't seen it since the start of the pandemic, but hopeful that K&K press out another batch.

I think Chacom mainly only distribute in Europe
I think you're right. I never saw #4 in stock anywhere in the USA shortly after the release and I don't believe that #1-3 have ever been restocked. It seems that whatever was made available at first is being sold through and that's it. #5 and #6 never landed in the USA at all.
