The idea that evelution is incompatible with creationism doesn't sit with me.
Although I'm not looking to get into the weeds on this one in this venue, I'll just say generally (for whatever it's worth) that although the time-frame in which various evolutions occured -- and whether they occured by mutation-based genetic gain rather epigenetic-based genetic loss -- are questions on which I don't accept current conventions, nevertheless I gladly accept some (not all) evolutionary models (e.g. that cetaceans descend from quadrupeds), as the evidence is pretty clear and the data isn't incompatible with my religio-historical assumptions.
