I've had that thought myself. Don't get me wrong, I think aging tobacco is fun and I certainly enjoy getting to smoke the results. It's the "let's look into the future and try to imagine how much you'll need to be satisfied" part of the equation that always brings me down a little. Inevitably it leads to people on forums talking about dying and what's going to happen to their carefully managed stash, and it's not a pretty picture.
For me, the idea of dying and being survived by a mountain of carefully cultivated jars and tins for my family to deal with... that idea embarrasses me. It's not as undignified as being found dead surrounded by boxes of porn, but it's not that far off either.
In 20 plus years of drafting wills, I have written in some odd bequests. As of yet, I do not believe I have had a client bequest his or her tobacco stash to anyone. Nor do I have such a provision in my will as my stash is rather limitedI respectfully and very strongly disagree. I'd say a well-stocked tobacco cellar, especially with the quality of blends that most forum members select for their cellars, is more akin to a collection of fine wines or liquors. Nothing to be embarrassed of at all, and in some cases, a very valuable asset puf

Your stash is off to a grand start. I especially like the Pease tins I see in the back.Nice tons of tobacco there!
Here's my "cellar", around 8 pounds. I'm still trying several famous blends that are yet new to me so that's more or less it for some time. The missing labels on CD tins were used for a collage since they have a nice tinart.

I found out I don't like Perique or too much of Latakia so I will stock up on Pease's Union Square in the future. I hear he's the right guy for English mixtures just like CD for Burleys. Their tobaccos seem to be a bit rough on the edges when compared to some MacBaren's equivalents for example but I believe the time will do its job.Your stash is off to a grand start. WOW! LOLLong Term Cellar (The Actual "Cellar").
Active Rotation
Old Shot Of Tobacco On The Floor
My Old Cellar (Plastic Cases and Coolidor). This Worked Well For Years, But Very Hard To Find Tins On Demand.
Very nice!
Whoa nice, I love samovar also, only have 3 tins though, haha! Well done ..
