These were taken as I moved my cellar a few years ago. This was also before my frantic McClelland haul, and a few other things that I had horded. It's not all neatly organized, but now my pictures would be of boxes in closets and stacked in corners.

I had plans to have cabinets built in my pipe room, but I couldn't get the contractor to honor his initial quotes... long story short, I also have stacks of lumber in my pipe room as I await time to build the damn things myself (or at least find a new carpenter).

Your cat has excellent taste in baccy.

B&M are not what they were in the past .
Usually I have to order in advance what I need so they stock up.

I love seeing other people's cellars especial the ones that look like they could be a well stocked tobacconists.
I also like seeing the pictures/video of 500g wodges of flakes being born from their packaging.
I think maybe it's a fetish or something.

I have roughly 30lbs and it may sound absurd to some of you but I often feel shame for having so much, and having spent several thousand in the process. All so I can have some nice flavors in my mouth...

It doesn't sound at all absurd. On the contrary, it sounds intelligent. What are your needs?
By hoarder standards I have a very modest cellar and it's perfectly fine for my purposes. I made a decision not to grow it beyond about 100lbs. It will outlive me, but I won't have spent tens of thousands of dollars on tobacco that will more likely than not, wind up in the trash, despite my instructions. Plus, given the continuing tightening of regulation around tobacco, my feeling is that as an "investment" it will rank right up there along with tulips.

My wife knows my instructions to have my cellar cremated along with me, as I go up in smoke. So, the more I have when I pass, the better puff of smoke I will make.

'fraid not. I don't do display. It's in mylar, in bins and in boxes. And, now that I think about it, it's probably a bit more than 100lbs, since there's about 33lbs of Esoterica blends (like I've said, B&M's are your friends if you're theirs) probably an equal amount of McClelland Virginias, and then the other blends that I smoke, HU, RO, Rattray's, SG, GLP, etc, so maybe 110-120lbs.

I've had that thought myself. Don't get me wrong, I think aging tobacco is fun and I certainly enjoy getting to smoke the results. It's the "let's look into the future and try to imagine how much you'll need to be satisfied" part of the equation that always brings me down a little. Inevitably it leads to people on forums talking about dying and what's going to happen to their carefully managed stash, and it's not a pretty picture.

For me, the idea of dying and being survived by a mountain of carefully cultivated jars and tins for my family to deal with... that idea embarrasses me. It's not as undignified as being found dead surrounded by boxes of porn, but it's not that far off either.

I've come to the conclusion that if you have less tobacco than I, you're a wimp, and if you have more, you're an egotistical rich bastard! Take that!! **

Cigar Humidor. I don't chase cigars anymore, but I did not sell off my stash. So I have a stocked humidor with well aged tobacco ready to smoke.

I'm in the same boat, looks like we have pretty similar tastes to boot!
