Is that really everything?
I honestly expected a 600lb stash to take up more than just a few cabinets, even if they are 2 1/2 feet deep.

That is the entirety of my stash. And yep, it's not that bad in terms of the space it takes up. Makes it all seem very reasonable.

A truly impressive cellar indeed. :worship:

And therein is the true talent of a good attorney...to make anything seem reasonable.

My guess is that this cabinet is only a 'front' to keep the thieves at bay. The real stash is somewhere underground in a bunker, something like an old air raid shelter that used to be around in the late 1960's.
Peck a nerd? Nah!!

Damn! Looks like the top shelf of tins could use a little reinforcement. Are you planning to open your own tobacco shop when you retire? Most impressive collection.

You're not too far off. These are pictures of Peck's cellar that were given to me by a gentleman wearing a red uniform with a flat brimmed hat.

There has also been a lot of speculation regarding what would happen to Peck's cellar should he not live the approximately 240 years needed to consume it. Peck has already provided a plan for that.
He purchased the following item on eBay for a fraction of its value and will have it reassembled in his backyard.

I thought I was doing well to cellar my tobacco on a metal utility shelf with dark cloth hung to shield the jars/tins from light. I suppose I can at least console myself with the knowledge that my dogs would be less friendly to any ne'er-do-well.

Funny stuff guys. Your slings and arrows wound me.
Truthfully, I'm not sure how it got this large. It just sort of happened.

"It just sort of happened" that you became a pipe smoker, yes. I don't think 600 lbs of tobacco requiring a very large storage space of its own -that has been custom built- "just happens."
When you open the cabinets is their a blinding light that comes from it with angels playing harps? It just seems that would be something that would happen when you open it for the first time on any given day.
I will go on the record and say that I believe these pictures are most likely fakes. Smoke and mirrors to divert our attention from the true tobacco cache that @sablebrush KNOWS is in a missile silo, pyramid or Fort Knox.
