I will say as a side-warning that I have experienced some Gawith rectangular tins that lost their seal over a few years (both from Sam Gawith and also some from GH & Co.), and the tobacco inside went bad (1792 Flake and Ennerdale Flake). I now wrap them in plastic wrap before stashing them away. I don’t know if that was just a fluke experience for me, but figured the warning might help others if it was a more common issue.
