Today marks two years of me enjoying the pipe smoking hobby. On 4/16/11 I purchased my Czech bent brandy basket pipe and 4oz of 1Q and that was only the beginning. Since then I have acquired more than 15 pipes and an unknown amount of tobacco. Not enough for me, but way to much if you ask my wife. Since then I have learned much about the hobby through the YouTube Pipe Community and through this forum. So just wanted to say thanks to you guys on the forum for being enabler's and for providing great information about the hobby.

So many tobaccos, so little time. Congratulations on two years. I have to ask, how is that Czech pipe doing?

@ rothnh - it doesn't seem that long ago for me either, but as they say "time fly's...".
@ mso489 - my Czech pipe is great. I keep it in my travel/go bag and use it when I'm out and about. It smokes great and I've never had any issues with it.
Here is my video for my YouTube channel talking about my 2 years. You can skip to about the 6:38 mark if you don't want to here me ramble. The remainder of the video is a montage showing my different pipes etc.

it is more of a way of life and pat of your Being! Congrats!
P.S. At least you can light a pipe! I have seen a couple of 'pipe experts' on you tube and they have to put a blowtorch to their pipe at least 6 times and even then they cannot get it lit and then they make some off the wall comment as to why they can't get it lit. I think that is so funny!!!

@ Kevin - I think that would be a good tag line for you.

@ graywizard - Thanks, I'm not to worried about keeping my pipe lit, but I definitely don't need a blow torch to relight it if necessary. LOL

Hi ya metalheadycigarguy

Really enjoyed your youtube present. It was very entertaining.

Get the impression you might play guitar? Not my style, but I

appreciate it none the less. My passion is mandolin , OT & BG.

Anyway.....thanks for the entertainment. Happy you are in the

joy of the hobby. :puffpipe:

@ scottishjohn - I own a Gibson SG Signature Series guitar that I bought almost 10 years ago. It's a beginner level Gibson guitar so it's not the best quality. Unfortunately, it mostly collects dust. One day I would like to take lessons as I can't play for crap. I just never pick it up. Maybe I should while I'm puffing away on my pipes. I keep it around in hopes that my kids will want to learn the guitar... maybe they can teach me someday. LOL

Thanks for watching the video. Glad you enjoyed it.
