Well, at least it "works," assuming the goal was to look chintzy.Fun fact: the "diamond" is a tiny ball of aluminum foil that's been compressed in the bottom of its hole with a facet-ground drill rod, then sealed in place with clear acrylic.
Lol, that's not a word I'd use to describe Castello...Well, at least it "works," assuming the goal was to look chintzy.
Do they do their vintage diamond type as an option? There is another option. You may arrange to have the pipe re stemmed at the Castello Workshop, but it is not inexpensive.

The size of the pipe.I'm curious, what do the "K" on the sea rock pipes stand for?
Thank you, I was thinking it might relate to how craggy the sea rock could be.The size of the pipe.
Back when they first imported Castello to the U.S. there was already a pipe brand cqlled "White Bar" that had a logo just like the Castello bar. The "diamond" was created for imports to avoid any conflict.(Can't remember why... some sort of trademark hassle/requirement, probably).

Size is a factor, but actually the K's are for Castello to tell the dealer the cost of that particular pipe within the type of finish. The size of the pipe.

This is the info I had come across...Size is a factor, but actually the K's are for Castello to tell the dealer the cost of that particular pipe within the type of finish.![]()
