The newest member of the herd ... I've been wanting a Castello for awhile now and this was a great deal!

What an entrancing finish...I could get lost in those jutting crags! And while a long shank usually bothers me, it seems right at home here. A worthy addition.

Thanks guys ... can't wait to take it for a spin!
Just wanted to update this thread.
The Castello Sea Rock has been a true pleasure to smoke and is becoming a favorite quickly. Highly recommended! :puffy:

My goodness, that's a handsome pipe, Cob.
Sorry I missed your original post. I've long admired those Sea Rock beauties.
Glad it smokes well.

I missed the original post as well. I must say that's a very good looking pipe. Good to hear she smokes well too. Enjoy. :puffy:

What Mr. Krug said! Enjoy! A real beauty. I've recently become a fan of deep blasts, rustications, and now sea rock, which I guess is a form of rusticating. (?)

That finish really fulfills the tactile experience of a smoke. Gnarly in the best sense.

So True! I love the feel of a good sandblast or rustication in my hand and this one is quite craggy.
