It's interesting to note that that Jim has stated here and in his review that this version tastes a bit less sugary that prior versions, but this one has Virginias with higher sugar content per C&D. I'm wondering if judging by peer sugar content might not be the best way of determining how sweet a blend "tastes" with everything else going on with our olfactory senses, other leaf components, etc. I've experienced this in other areas (I.e. how smoky a blend tastes by pure Latakia or DFK content), how dry/hoppy a beer tastes regardless of IBUs, etc.

Though that 2020 number for the CRF w/ Perique definitely tracks as not tasting very sweet to me.
