The CB Grape would be too new to meet FDA deeming regulations for grandfathering. The company would have to jump through a bunch of regulatory hoops to continue to produce it. They may, if it pays to do so.
that's the thing it's only one added cost. That means those floundering blends are the ones cut. But with the added benefit of blaming an outside party.

You guys had to start this thread. Of course had to buy the 1.5 oz pouch out in town (Florida). I'll put it away for a rainy day. What I don't get is it cost $7 online and $17. locally. I tried three of those cheap tobacco shops.
You have a high state tobacco tax in Florida. Not all online retailers collect the state tax.

wait can not seem to find much beyond people saying it happened. Which have to admit doesn't make me certain or doubt it.

Fuente Maduro Opus X, which are incredibly rare, were being offered week after week for months as singles on there and were selling for $40 a pop, which while a crazy price now, was even crazier back then. Someone bought a couple and showed them to Carlito Fuente at an event who declared them fakes and said he never sold any Maduro Opus X to CI/CB. Shortly after that, all of the Fuentes disappeared from CB for a couple years. I recall old Fuente-heads posting pictures of the CB fakes alongside known real Maduro Opus and the difference was striking. The CB offerings had much different, lumpier wrappers, uneven bunching, and the band wasn't even right. I also recall people smoking them and pretty much reviewing it as "What the hey!? These don't even taste Dominican, let alone like an Opus." Some folks posited that they were Nicaraguans. Very bad fakes, either way, but, boy, did the pictures on the auction make them look alluring (and slightly out of focus).

I saw some of the fakies get sold a few times at Online Humidor for a while, but once word got out, they disappeared from the secondary market. Who knows where they are now?

I saw that captan lack grape has been discontinued not that it’s my favorite or the other captan black flavors for that matter. I wonder if the others are on the chopping block. Just a little disconcerting to see any blends going away. Has anyone heard or have any info on this?

While looking up the STG/Lane factory, I spotted this very rare Volvo Limo!
I'm guessing that it was there to pick up the inventor of 1Q.

Strange forum threats here. I could never find the pouch of CB-Grape so I ended up buying Cigar Bids' ultra-mega 12-oz tin.. which I'm afraid of as it takes up most of the room and glowers at me, daring to open it. CB is pretty downright awful. Their Cherry is nightmarish like cherry NyQuil and ghosts your pipe permanently and probably adds cherry flavoring to your lungs and brain and any marble or stone in the room as well. I can no doubt expect that if I smoke this monstrosity, it will lead me to the end-game Violet endured in the 1971 film, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

that's silly dude. Willy Wonka and the blah blah etc was a movie. It was rated PG or something like that. So obviously your post CBG end-game is going to be far gorier and much harder for someone to clean up.
