Some of us are that way about burley, as a base tobacco, as a condiment, in English, in single leaf.

I haven't gotten around to trying capstan blue yet, I am sitting on 10 tins that I am cellaring. I am hoping it's as good as most people say.

Recently been getting bulk blends which have been great,,, LJ, WWC, Wilkie...that I haven't really opened any tins...but it's does sound tempting!

I’m not one to criticize. I’ve still got about ten blends I wanted to try before the year is out and haven't been able to get to them.

But I tried Capstan early, because it’s the tobacco that’s almost named the same as a blend that may have been a favourite for some time or other of JRR Tolkien.

I fell for Capstan Blue too. I was lucky to fall for it when it was still fairly cheap ($10 and some change). I cellared it deep, but it doesn't change much. Nonetheless, it's good. It takes a couple years of trying different blends to figure out what you like and want to stock up on. I narrowed things down fairly quickly in 12-14, and am now sitting on a decent amount of Capstan Blue, Campaign, CVP, FVF, Alyesbury LF, Tillbury, Stonehaven, and Dunhill Flake.

I think Amphora Virginia Blend just hit me like this. I have been smoking through my pouch quite quickly and it just satisfies every smoke!
