CAO's Moontrance.

I've always thought of CAO as cigar people, last night we had some friends over and Kevin brought a tin of Moontrance with him. I'm not much on aro's outside of Autum Evening but I gave this a go in a MM Diplomat and was surprised that I didn't hate it, though it wasn't great as Kevin seems to feel it is it's not that bad.

Long story short when I didn't complain about artificial flavoring in the tobacco and said it wasn't bad he left me the tin. After a 2nd bowl today, I hate to admit it, but I think I kind of like it.

Glad to know. I have a tin along with a few other Euro style aros to try and I cracked Autumn Evening the other day - also a first for me.

It's the only one of CAO's blends that I found to be tolerable. Needs plenty of dry time though. Like, think of laying it out on a paper towel in Death Valley in July--that kind of dry time!

I love when non-aro smokers find the seal breaker. There are some great aros but they can be hard to find.

I find that Moontrance and Eileen's Dream are very good blends. I don't smoke them regularly, but I like to have a tin on hand when the urge hits me.

A lot of the aros I like work like that for me. I don't want them all the time, but a particular mood will hit for a bowl or week for a certain aro.

I thought Bella Vanilla was pretty solid. Eilleen’s Dream as well. Haven’t tried Moontrance. Might give it a shot. I like a nice aro with morning coffee.

On my recent dive into Euro aros Davidoff Danish and Dan Tobacco Black Velvet are both winners. Good balance of tobacco to other flavors and perfect humidity.
