I am wondering about the value of an unsmoked Bull Elephant CAO Meerschaum pipe.

The stem is yellow and bears a CAO metal tab.

The tusks appear to be actual ivory.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you a pipe smoker? Do you have any pics of said pipe other then your avatar?

If the seller had a no questions asked return policy I could see myself paying maybe ... $300.00. It's bent, it's a CAO, if the ivory is real and legal . . . maybe more. I'm a fan of CAO. I don't see a carver's name, that's a negative but, not a deal breaker.

I have not received it as yet and I had never heard of CAO prior to purchasing this pipe.
It supposedly was in a smoke shop on Sunset Boulevard over 30 years ago.

They also make cigars and that's what they're best known for. Started off making meerschaum pipes, diversified into pipe tobacco, then got into cigars during the Cigar Boom in the 90s
