Another crossover from CAO's flavored cigar line to pipe tobacco. I'm not usually an aromatic smoker but lately I've had a yen for them as a break from my regular 1792 and latikia blends.
Billed as an Irish cream & white chocolate truffles smokes the tin aroma does impart a chocolate nose. The chocolate was evidient on first light and the smoke was rather full bodied; at least to me. Not unpleasant but not interesting enough to make me come back to it more than maybe twice a week. Honestly, about mid bowl it loses just about everything. I smoked it in a Radice Rind, fairly large bowl, so maybe something on a smaller scale may be the way to go.
Anyway those are my first impressions of this blend.
The shop also got CAO's Cherry Bomb in the same order but I'll try to talk one of the other regulars into buying that. At $11.30 a 50g tin I'll do just so much experimenting.
